The Secret Hidden Beaches of Grand Cayman’s East End

Yesterday was a gorgeous sunny day but not too hot and with a nice sea breeze. We decided to take the afternoon doing a leisurely bike ride around the 30km (19 mile) loop of Grand Cayman’s East End with the objective of stopping to take pictures at each of the hidden beaches along the way.

Although the famous beaches such as Seven Mile Beach on the westside of the island may capture public imagination, it is the hidden beaches that really make us realise how beautiful this island is. Free of crowds, and not a high rise hotel in sight. Just lapping waves, onshore cooling winds, and wildlife in it’s natural habitat. Perfect!

Let the photos speak for themselves. This is a ‘best of’ collection of pictures from that day, my camera’s SD card is full of many more.
